My family have been interested in genealogy for 20 years. It’s only in the last couple of years that we have been able to knock down brickwalls due to the wealth of information that is now available on the internet.
You can now gather so much information from the comfort of your own home, so that when the time comes to pore over ‘dusty ledgers’ and original documents, you have a better idea where to look and how to quickly find what you need. Genealogy can be rewarding and inexpensive.
